ELBA, a.s. Kremnica, expanded its main manufacturing activities – the production of connecting and mechanical elements for electrical transmission networks from 400 V to 400 kV – to include the manufacture and installation of gate systems in 1993. It became one of the first producers of rolling and sectional gates in Slovakia. While we mainly manufacture large sized gates for industrial buildings and halls, logistics centres and hangars, we also produce gate and garage door systems for apartment buildings and garage structures. With a view towards ensuring the complete supply of gate systems from a single supplier, since 2005 ELBA a.s. has also provided sealing systems, dock levellers, fast moving doors and fence gates, latches and motorized units. ELBA a.s. provides qualified consultation services directly on the construction site for technical construction solutions for gate systems as well as a selection of the offered gate systems. It also secures warranty and post-warranty service, professional inspection and testing of the provided equipment.

History:
1993 –New equipment installation - rolling table for producing Al panels placed into operation
1993 – Industrial production of industrial rolling and sectional gates with 50mm Al exteriors commences
1995 – New products introduced – Industrial and sectional garage doors with 40 mm steel exteriors
1996 – Received a Certificate documenting production compliance
1997 – Received an Addendum for the production, installation, repair, maintenance, professional inspection and testing of lifting equipment related to gate systems
1998 – Completion of the first hangar door project measuring 36 449mm x 6 970mm (M.R. Stefanik Airport, Bratislava, Slovakia)
2001 – New product – PGB 80 motorized drive for garage doors
2003 – New equipment installation – paint booth placed into operation
2005 – Expansion of product line – delivery technology, fence gates, latches and fast moving doors
2006 – Completion of the initial audit for construction products in order to Announce Conformance with Authorized Parties
2007 – EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certification granted
